Live Performance
I consider myself fortunate to have, over many years, been able to photograph world class performers in beautiful auditoria. This expeirience has prepared me for just about any performance and lighting scenario and ensures that I am equipped, techncally and with the necessary skills to get the best images from your performance. I am equally at home in theatres old and new, grand and modest; it's all about capturing the best images for you to use.
While it’s likely that only a limited number of images from any live performance will ever be used afterwards, be that in print or on line, my approach to every show is to capture the story that is being told on stage, in it’s entirety. It isn’t for me to decide what is worth capturing or what can be left out. My approach allows you judge how best to use those images to serve your needs.
The value of any image is in the use that you can derive from it, whether a digital version, used across multiple platforms, a programme image or a critical moment from the performance that will go to the press. To this end, I always discuss with clients, the various ways that images could be used, in order for you to acheive the absolute maximum value from your investment.
